GROWTH STRATEGY / ARCHITECTURE FIRMS

Thoughtful work.
The right people to see it.

You put real thought into the work. I help you tell the story behind it, reach clients who value it, and make the path from a first conversation to a good-fit project clearer.

START WITH YOUR PRACTICE

What kind of work
do you want more of?

More inquiries are only useful when they fit your interests, capabilities, geography, and capacity.

A beautiful portfolio matters. So do the stories, relationships, and everyday decisions behind it.

I start by listening: which projects you enjoy, who you serve well, how people hear about you, and what happens when they get in touch. We look for the real strengths a future client might not yet see, in a voice that feels like your firm.

  • The clients and projects that fit. Talk through the owners, developers, institutions, and project types you want to work with, along with what your team can realistically take on.
  • The story behind the design. Make your approach, decisions, and contribution understandable to someone who may never have worked with an architect.
  • The people around the project. Build on relationships with builders, engineers, brokers, past clients, and others who already know the value of your work.
  • A useful first conversation. Help someone recognize a good fit and understand what to share, who will reply, and what happens next.

MAKE THE GOOD WORK VISIBLE

Show the thinking.
Keep the process human.

The next useful move might be a better project story, a clearer introduction, or a simpler handoff. It may not require an entirely new website.

01

Find your story.

What do clients appreciate after working with you? Bring those strengths into your positioning: how you listen, solve a difficult brief, collaborate, or guide a project through decisions.

02

Give the work context.

Pair photography with the challenge, your role, and the choices that shaped the result. Clear services, project stories, and honest service-area information give people more to understand and remember.

03

Simplify the handoff.

Look at who responds to an inquiry, what gets recorded, and who owns the next step. A useful template or well-chosen tool may help; any workflow changes, setup, or training get their own scope.

A CLEAR PLACE TO START

Talk it through.
Leave with direction.

Discovery & Roadmap: $995 fixed. A 90-minute conversation about client fit, positioning, acquisition, and inquiry follow-up; a high-level review of your website, search presence, local listings, social profiles, and competitors; concise findings and a prioritized roadmap; a suggested first phase, responsibilities, and an initial budget range; and a 30-minute follow-up.

Search & AI Visibility: $1,750 fixed. A two-hour strategy workshop, expanded SEO, AI visibility, content, conversion, and competitor review, available website and search analytics review, a 90-day roadmap with search and content opportunities, and a 45-minute follow-up.

Discovery & Roadmap is the quicker review. Search & AI Visibility allows for deeper research and analysis, so it takes a little longer.

These packages set direction; they do not include a full operational review, proposal writing, ongoing business-development execution, website changes, tool implementation, formal training, or advertising. Further work is scoped and priced separately before it begins.

GOOD QUESTIONS

A little more
clarity.

What if our best work comes through referrals?

That is a strength to build on. I look at what makes a good referral happen, what someone sees after hearing your name, and how the first conversation is handled. The aim is to support trusted relationships, not replace them with more channels to maintain.

Can this help us pursue a different project type?

We can work through who you want to reach, what relevant experience you can show, and which relationships would matter. The roadmap can identify sensible next steps. It cannot promise new projects, procurement access, or an immediate place in a new market.

Can tools help without taking over our process?

Sometimes a clearer intake form, a reusable project-story outline, or a better handoff is enough. If a tool or internal AI assistant could help, we agree on its job, who reviews the output, and the information it may use. Operational reviews, setup, and formal training are custom-scoped, not included in the discovery fees.

Will our team know what to do next?

I explain the recommendations and use the included follow-up to talk through priorities. If we work on implementation, we agree on documentation, handoff, and any team education in that project’s scope. You can also take the roadmap to the people you already work with.

Do you work with architecture firms outside Tennessee?

Yes. I am based in Middle Tennessee, with an initial regional focus on Middle Tennessee and Huntsville, Alabama, and remote collaboration across the U.S. Architecture is one specialty within my broader work with owner-led small businesses. Your actual clients, service area, and capacity shape the plan.

NO POLISHED PITCH NEEDED

Tell me what’s good.
And what could work better.

You don’t need to know which service to ask for. Tell me about your business, and we’ll talk through where I can be useful. Discovery starts at $995; growth, operations, and AI tool projects have their own agreed scope and price.
